Phil Gordon comes with a degree in computer science. He must have been a child prodigy because he entered the Georgia Institute of Technology at the tender age of 15 for getting his degree in computer science. He could have had a fabulous career in missiles and space technology because his first job was at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company based in Santa Cruz. Phil Gordon took part in the World Series of poker tournaments in 2001. He netted $400,000 even though he ranked only the 4th in the main event. In 2004, he defeated two noteworthy opponents and won the Shooting Stars world poker tournament. In 2006 by winning the Full tilt poker championship he earned $600,000.
